Partnerships have been at the heart of our sports program’s growth. These collaborations provide the resources, expertise, and support needed to create a dynamic and inclusive sports environment at Le Bocage. As a result, we’ve expanded our sports offerings and enhanced the overall experience for all students, both on and off the field.
This year, we are especially proud of the development of our female football team. The team has quickly become an integral part of our sports community, giving young girls the opportunity to showcase their talent, build confidence, and develop their skills in a supportive environment. It has been inspiring to watch them grow in ability and camaraderie as they train hard and push themselves to new heights.
In a historic first, the girls recently organised and played in a tournament against the female teachers – an event initiated entirely by the students. The match was a testament to their skill, determination, and growing leadership within the school. It brought the community together in a fun and competitive spirit, highlighting the power of sport to break down barriers and foster empowerment.
Alongside football, our netball program has shown significant progress. Over the past few months, players have steadily developed their technique and game strategy, with coaches seeing clear improvements in confidence and teamwork. Since its launch, the program has continued to grow in popularity and participation.
By popular demand, we’ve also expanded our football program to include boys’ football. This addition has been met with great enthusiasm, offering even more students the chance to develop their skills and enriching the school’s sports culture further.
